Abstract: This paper describes the current integrated waste PET bottle PET degradation of the main and recovery status quo, at the same time the significance of degradation of PET and described the need for, and sodium hydroxide as a hydrolysis catalyst, the alkaline hydrolysis of PET bottles by changing the concentration of sodium hydroxide solution, reaction time and reaction temperature to study the degradation of PET and the impact of recovery of terephthalic acid, while the recovery of TPA on methods.
