Abstract: Dye-sensitized solar cells in terms of traditional silicon solar cells have more room for development.This article describes the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) of the principle of its current development status, the device structure, and characterization methods.Orthogonal experiment on the ion liquid electrolyte containing iodide, LiI, tert-butyl pyridine (TBP) content and concentration of ionic liquids and the four kinds of ionic liquids in terms of these five dye-sensitized solar cell performance was Preliminary study. It was found that the content of iodine for greatest impact on the efficiency of the electrolyte and the most unstable. And summarizes the DSSC existing problems and future development.
