Abstract: Vapor-liquid equilibrium data is the chemical industry to develop new products, develop new technology to reduce energy consumption, waste handling an important basis for one of the data. Chemical production in the separation process such as distillation and absorption equipment, transformation and design, innovation and the choice of the optimal process conditions, require accurate and reliable vapor-liquid equilibrium data.
Introduction of the VLE data verification preliminary research, mainly determined by vapor liquid equilibrium at atmospheric pressure (101.33kPa) and (50.00Kpa) of ethanol -water binary system composed of different materials when the boiling point, vapor phase,liquid, analyze its composition and method using Herington area test vapor-liquid equilibrium data (vapor phase x, liquid y, pressure p, temperature T) is the thermodynamic consistency.
