Abstract

Reactive power system voltage imbalance will lead to great fluctuations,and cause severe damage to electrical equipment. Therefore, the study of reactive power compensation has important economic significance.
A fully automatic reactive power compensation devices. This device is in the previous inspection manual or electromagnetic reactive power compensation devices based on self-designed by the author, mainly using AT89C51 single-chip microprocessor as the realization of automatic control. System to the power grid voltage and current sampling, computing, to gain COS ∮ and active. The device can be realized from the power factor COS ∮ = 0.6 compensation to the COS ∮ = 0.95, power factor and can ensure that changes in the automatic switching to real-time shows that the current power factor, current and active, and can achieve the manual and automatic control.
