摘要
在Internet迅速发展的今天,人们非常关注如何能够高效、高质量地传输Internet业务以及实时多媒体业务。传统Internet是一种尽力而为的服务方式,已不能适应一些新业务(如I P 电话、传真、电子商务等)对服务质量的要求,IP QoS的研究成为目前的热点。因此,通信网络的仿真,成为通信领域的热点问题。如何高效地建立网络模型,如何对网络模型进行修改以提高其性能,如何提高 IP QoS等,都需要网络仿真。而OPNET则是当前网络仿真以及分析领域一种十分优秀的软件,特别是在优化通信网络和提高网络效率方面有十分显著的效果。
本文首先介绍了IP QoS的基本概念,其次分析了IP QoS的关键技术,如综合服务模型、区分服务模型以及主要的实现技术等,并就各种实现方法的特点进行了总结。最后使用OPNET仿真软件构建基于IP QoS技术的网络模型,对其性能进行仿真。因此,IP QoS技术的研究具有一定的现实意义。

Abstract
With the current boon in Internet usage special due to its proliferation into business, there is a greater and more urgent need for the transmission of efficient and high-quality service and real-time multi-media service. Traditional IP is a best-efforts service, now it can not fit for some new services (For example, IP phone, IP Fax, electron commerce and etc.) of Quality of Service. Quality of Service has been a research issue in society. Thus the communications network simulation, become a hot issue. How to make a network model, how to modify the network model to improve the function and how to improve the Quality of Service of IP network need network simulation. Then the OPNET is very excellent network simulation software, especially in optimization communication network and raising network efficiency.
This paper firstly introduces some basic concepts about QoS .Secondly the paper analyses several key technique, such as Integrated Services, differentiated services and achievement techniques of QoS and so on. And the paper summarizes the traits of these achievement techniques. Finally the paper introduces the principle of OPNET software usage. Using OPNET simulation software builds the network which is on the basis of IP QoS technique and simulates the performance of the network. So, the research of the IP QoS technique has certain meaning of the realism.
