By comparing the DSP-based control system and the analogue circuit control system, it can be concluded that the control system based on DSP has the advantages of high reliability, low noise, easily upgrading .As one key part of the control system,
the function of control device is to deal with the displacement signal from the motor
and the output of control signal so as to control motor speed.
This paper firstly introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge of the motor control as well as the DSP controller structure and programming methods, TI TMS320VC5402 control chip is used as the core in the control system. Using DSP powerful processing capability and rich peripherals, the entire system saved the complexity of the hardware circuit.
Then, the Mixed-Language programming method which includes C and the Assembly Language is used to complet the software control procedures.
Finally, according to the control requirements, the programs are debugged and a series of experiments are completed which include the parameters of motor control and Speed-time curve diagram.
The experimental results show that the motor starts fast and stable with wider area ofspeeding. This control system has the characteristic of simple structure, high dependability, and can be used in many fields.
