Abstract
This paper studies the design of IPTV video and music signaling network. First I gave the IPTV network platform system model, and carried on the introduction to each composition module function in the network system model, then took the IPTV service demand in a province as the example, elaborated its design proposal in detail.
In design proposal, in order to guarantee the band width, the broadcast quality as well as the reliability in the IPTV transmission network, I have used CDN (content distribution network) technical, the multicast technology, the class media technology, explained the reason ,the principle and the application of using these technical in the network process. And I required the corresponding request of the user access network set and the solution in the backbone/ Metropolitan Area Network. Video on Demand can be realized through the content distribution network edge server by the unicast way, the multicast technology realizes the best choice of the direct seeding television, and both the two kinds of technologies can be able to reduce the network band width enormously, alleviates the load bearing pressure of the backbone network effectively. Flows the media technology is the auxiliary technology of IPTV network transmission design, it has included the coding technology as well as the correlation transport protocols. Finally there is the systematic test.
