Currently the prepaid water meters are mainly card style that is deficient in applying . Making use of infrared remote control technology , a new water meter is designed which can not only realize all the functions of prepaid water meter but also avoid the limitation of card style water meter .
The main contents of this thesis are as follows : the hardware of water meter system such as the circuit of infrared communication , the power module , the metric circuit , the read-write implement of PC etc ; the software design and interference resisting ; infrared communication protocol and encryption techniques ; the design of the database management system . In addition the hardware interference resisting , infrared communication interference resisting and the linear demarcation of water meter are included in this thesis also .
This paper mainly introduces the concept , structure and function of the application system of prepaid water meter. The paper illustrates the design flow of the terminal system and the communication system of monolithic integrated circuit control module, which contains the introduction of the 16 low power losses monolithic integrated circuits, and such contents as the circuit of infrared communication and the design of software.
