The industrial engineering is one of five engineering in USA which include mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, electrical engineering and chemical engineering. IE has penetrated into any engineering and management discipline after development one century and applications in many industries.
In recent years our country's manufacture industry vigorous development, but in the manufacturing industry domain the modernized level in a quite low level, specially in the majority small private enterprises. The enterprise scale is also small, produces no standard, causes the production efficiency lower and cost higher. In order to solve these problems we must enhance the enterprise the competitive power. We can use method research and the time study, which is the main method of industrial engineering, to establish the product standard and then improve enterprise the productivity and the competitive power.
This article firstly introduces the industrial engineering basic concept, theory knowledge and so on. Secondly use this method to analysis the problem of Ningbo Xin yuan Jiangbei Apparatus Co. Ltd and put forward the optimal method.
