In recent years, the higher education has been vigorously developed in our country, The undergraduate education has transformed from popular education to the elite–oriented education. It includes the research education and application education two categories, but the demand for the applied talents of the society accounts for a large proportion. How to carry out the application-oriented personnel training has become a heated topic currently in the educational circles .
Open–Oriented Project Teaching is a new kind of teaching pattern, which enable the students to integrate with their majors, to freely choose their projects, learning partners, faculty advisers ,learning environment and so on, and then fulfill the projects . By this way , it can improve the students’ practical abilities of designing and creating .
During this 2 years , Zhejiang University of Science and Technology has achieved fruitful accomplishments to foster senior applied-personnel by using open-oriented teaching training. At present, in China's scientific research field of education, quantitative research has been used frequently. This article which is from the perspective of quantitative research is an open project combined with teachers teaching and research topics to eva luate this mode of teaching pattern. This open-oriented teaching pattern turns up to be very beneficial for students to improve their abilities ,according to the quantitative research which includes questionnaires, data collection, meta-analysis of the project .
