The Punching Tool Design of Automotive Longitudinal Bean
Abstract
The manufacting of Automotive longitudinal bean is very difficult because of its long outline dimension and was limited by processing equipment. By analysing of longitudinal production process and mold design can we predominate die design theory and methods.
This article is primarily designed for Automotive longitudinal bean by analysising blanking plate feature , material and sheet metal blanking blanking method is basically the same method. Only compared with the sheet, plate blanking process have its own unique characteristics, blanking clearance, tool design, stamping quality. The pieces of material thickness tolerance requirements for the 6mm size is not Rigorous. Punching is in a straight line .the center distance is small, therefore,I have to consider the minimum distance of the edge of holes.I keep enough margin when design model and the fixed bump plate to prevent the hard interference.
