In this study, the overall research goal for the research and development performance of aluminum alloy automotive body sheet. In response to these objectives, this thesis to 5182 alloy, based on observations by the microstructure and hardness, drawing, yield and punch experiments on different metal composition of alloying elements, homogenization annealing, final annealing process conditions on the crystal structure and mechanical properties. Research results are as follows:
Component Al-3.56Mg-0.187Cu-0.197Zn-0.12Fe(wt%)of 5 aluminum alloy After 550 ℃ x24h homogenization annealing rolling to finished thickness of 1.5mm, and then to 450 ℃ x2h the final annealing. Performance can basically meet the requirements of auto body sheet metal.
