Abstract
At present, most of the needle’s assembly is relied on manual with a low level of automation. This reduces the efficiency of assembly greatly and increases labor intensity of operators and the contamination rate of needle point.
A new automatic assembly production line of syringe needle control system is designed to solve the problem. The control system adopts PLC controls, combined with friendly interface and intuitive operation panel. This machine has the function of completely assembly and blanking, counting. It has many advantages compared with manual production: high production efficiency, simple and convenient, stable performance, small footprint and non-polluting.
This paper is divided into six chapters. Chapter Ⅰ is the introduction, mainly on the automated needle assembly at home and abroad, the study of the status quo and development trend, pointing out that the gap between our country and other developed countries in the field, and faced with a series of challenges. Therefore, it is important to design this control system.
Chapter Ⅱ analyzes the consists of the control system and main features, which include a brief describe of process, consist of control system and working principle, the stand-alone machine’s workflow action and working principle.
Chapter Ⅲ describes the hardware consists of control system, including the introduction and selection of main control system hardware, PLC external wiring diagram. It contains details of PLC, sensors, pneumatic cylinders and components, electric motors, touch screen and so on in the part of the main control system hardware.
The next chapter IV of this paper is mainly about the design of human-computer interface in the control system. Firstly, it introduces the common sense of human-computer interface and its design. And then, it shows some interface design of main operation panel, including the main operation panel, needle holder and tube machine, sheath and sheath pressing machine. Furthermore, the chapter analyzes their detailed features.
Chapter V is focused on software’s design of the control system, including the main procedures’ structure and explanation to some calculation procedures. Use ladder diagram to explain the procedures of needle holder machine and gluing machine in the main program. While in the calculation process, use the ladder diagram to show the procedures of pulses’ number and needle’s number.
The final chapter is the conclusion. It summed up the completion of the subject, problems encountered and the main harvest.
