As more and more mobile phones and personal digital assistants join the information highway, to access a Web site with mobile devices is getting more important. Java created an era that consumer equipment needs small capacity storage capacity, and it is an ideal language in the application procedures development of mobile phones, pagers and other micro equipments. J2ME is a highly optimized Java runtime environment developed for those equipments with limited resources, limited network connections and limited graphical user interface capabilities, and aims to service for the widely consumed products. J2ME brings the Java cross-platform functionality for small equipments, allowing the mobile wireless equipments to share applications procedures.
The purpose of the program is to learn and use J2ME core technology, from the perspective of practice, to develop MIDlet application procedures under J2ME platform and to simulate the cell phone function.
There are three parts in this dissertation: Firstly, the authoer analyses API wireless principle of compiling programe,and introduced the principle creating and sending messages; the next part is the principle of dealing with mobile mutilmedia, it includes the principle of dealing with graph,image,color and audio, in this part author goes deep into drawing process, dealing with image process and using Media API interface to realize playing audio under the framework of MIDP;at last, author researches J2ME games development especially researched the foundation stone of games control—J2ME thread handling process and the principle of cartoon.
