Abstract: Chiral amino alcohol is a kind of the ligand, or catalyst with great potential for the development of catalytic asymmetric synthesis . They can catalyze the asymmetric epoxidation reaction,the reduction of asymmetric carbon and nitrogen double bond,the additive reaction of asymmetric carbonyl compounds and organic reagent and so on…This paper is to hand a new multi-functional hands of the amino alcohol ligand synthesized from natural amino acids.
We use the (1 R, 2S )-(+) or (1 S, 2R )-(-)- 2 - amino-1,2 - diphenyl ethanol as chiral source,acetonitrile as solvent, K2CO3 for lashing acid, a small amount of KI as a catalyst, and 2,4,6 - Trimethyl--1,3,5 - three benzyl bromide to synthesize three catalytic center ligand. And with 1,3,5 - three benzyl bromide as raw materials, the hands of the amino alcohol chiral source ephedrine as chiral source ,we resynthesize two new ligand , then determinate the products’ melting point and polarimetry degrees.
