TiO2 microemulsion Preparation and methylene blue dye degradation
Abstract : The main raw material of Preparation of Catalyst is heptane, n-butyl titanate and isoamyl alcohol.Then Photocatalyst was synthesized by doping some metal elements in microemulsion and using microwave drying. Through the use of BET, XRD, SEM, nanotechnology laser particle size analysis, and other means ,we can token the specific surface area, crystalline structure, particle size and particle morphology of characterization, and the catalyst used in the methylene blue dye degradation. The experimental results show that : joining the isoamyl alcohol, the more surface area than the smaller, and the incorporation of iron will TiO2 surface area increases, but lowered the methylene blue solution to the degradation efficiency. Fe-doped and undoped any material synthesized samples , marked increasing in the methylene blue solution to the degradation rate. XRD, SEM can be aware of all the samples are anatase crystal type.
