Chemical absorption-microbial reduction for the removal of NOx from flue gas
Abstract
In view of shortcoming and limitation of the existing haze denitrate technology, this artical proposed a chemical absorption-biological reduction integrated process to remove the nitrogen oxide in flu gas,to learn the absorption capacity of NO to Fe(II)Cit, and the influence factors of growth and reducing character of Enterococcus sp. FR-3. This study showed that the best allocation ratio between Fe(II)Cit and NO was 1:2, which got the best absorption capacity. Strain FR-3 could reduce Fe(III)Cit efficiently, but the inhibiton phenomenon existed when there was a certain amount of NO2- or SO32- in the absorption solution, especially when there esisted SO32-. SO42- had no inhibiton on strain FR-3.
