At present, with the rapid development of single-chip applied technology, the embedded system using single-chip as the core has been widely used in various fields. In this paper, it discusses about a design in which a single-chip is applied to time controller.
We achieve a electronic timer system controlled by AT89S51.This paper describes the approach to achieve a timer system by using single-chip. It also talks about the designing and debugging by illustrating the two parts of the software and hardware,and in the concluding part we have eva luated the design's function. This system can achieve the function to start, suspend and reset. The system can be accurate to 10ms.
