Abstract
In this paper, multivariate statistical analysis was used to eva luate students’ comprehensive capacity. It selects the information and computing science professionals 03 Class A students’ survey results for the samples. Firstly, it analyzes the status quo of comprehensive assessment of students, compars advantages and disadvantages of the three main eva luation methods, and it is feasible to solve the problems by using multiple statistical methods. Secondly, it introduces the basic ideas, concepts of factor analysis and the SAS system. Then, establish mathematical models based on the actual situation, use SAS to solve, and give the results. Comprehensive assessment scores will serve as the final results, as a means of measuring a student's overall capability, and as the basis for scholarship.
