Abstract:
Familial love is the world’s purest emotion; it is the human emotional world’s most beautiful rose. At the same time, familial love is also a fountainhead of education and powerful support to us; it is something that every person cannot get enough of and should be treasured as a vital resource and wealth. The cartoon industry today puts out more and more cartoons that conform to this type of “love formula”, from the foundational “Big Head Son and Small Head Father”, and “The Lion King” to Finding Nemo, Coraline, and the Oscar-winning “Father and Daughter”. This trend can be explained in that it is easy to move the audience’s hearts, produce a sympathetic response, and through the scripts of these cartoon subject matter; they are built on people’s deep-rooted, not easily abandoned notion of familial love. This type of subject matter is more easily accepted and remembered by the movie-going audience, and also gives momentum and mainstream appeal to the cartoon industry’s products.
I use two-dimensional cartoons to record the relationship of myself and my father, remembering the role of my father in my own development, how he gave me help and cared for me, different from the direct and warm-hearted nature of maternal lave, my father’s love was deep and implicit.
The family found is currently the most widely used topic used in the animation movies. Animation movies that use different approaches could give the audience different thoughts and feelings.
