Abstract:Tetraacetyl ethylenediamine (TAED) is a kind of good peroxide bleaching activators. Crystallization is an important step in the process of production, which has important influence on yield and quality of TAED in production process. Solubility and the metastable zone width is the one of the basic researchments in crystallization process. Using laser scattering method for measurements of crystallization metastable zone width and solubility of the teraacetyl ethylenenediamine (TAED) in acetic anhydride solution at different cooling rate, stirring speed. Measuring the metastable zone width △Tmax interface with concentration at different cooling rate, measuring the metastable zone width △Tmax interface with concentration at different stirring speed stability, Using least-square method of experiment data regression. The results show that, the high cooling rate increase the metastable zone width △Tmax, high stirring speed decrease the metastable zone width △Tmax.
