Aero engine are complicated, non-linear and multivariable control systems, with the developments and applications of aero engine full authority digital electronic control, the requirements for aero engine performances become higher and higher, and aero engine control variables become more and more. Intelligence control for aero engine multivariable control in the full envelope is inevitable.
In this paper, the theory and method of intelligence control are used to aero engine multivariable control. Due to the simplicity and clear physical conception, PID control is banded with fuzzy control and a fuzzy-PID controller is proposed for aero engine control systems.
IN this paper, the real-time simulation experiment has been done on a turbofan aero engine. Simulation results indicate that the neural network adaptive control system has good real-time performances in the full envelope.
