Thesis topic: the power cable fault location research and device
ABSTRACT
With the enlargement of power grid scale, cable fault caused by impact and losses are more and more. In order to guarantee the normal operation of the power system, to realize cable fault fast, accurate positioning, on-line power cable fault location research highlights the growing importance. This paper discusses the cable fault off-line ranging method, positioning method of cable fault, system modeling, simulation data processing analysis and virtual instrument interface development aspects. The thesis first introduces the cable fault causes, types, summed up the cable line location using related principles, and through MATLAB software for cable fault test methods for simulation, analysis of the corresponding fault test signal changes in the law. Then the thesis introduces the basic concept of the wavelet analysis, from the multi-scale analysis and maximum value characteristic point of view, the cable line fault location method has carried on the theoretical research, and use MATLAB software to establish on-line power cable fault location model and simulation. Aiming at the uncertainty influence of velocity of cable fault location accuracy problems, this paper puts forward and deduced a avoiding wave speed influence cable and half ranging formula, in theory eliminate wave velocity on the fault location accuracy. Finally, the fault location system design and implementation are described, introduced the wavelet analysis module, denoising module, data acquisition module and a fault positioning module working objective and method, and gives a LabVIEW software development virtual instrument display interface.
