STUDY ON LOW COST MOVIE PROFIT MAXIMIZATION

ABSTRACT: Low cost movie has been drawing close attention during these years. In China, low cost movie mainly refers to movie with investment between 3 million to 10 million. This particular movie style has becoming successful and there have been many cases. Cape No. 7 can be regarded as a miracle of low cost movie. This movie attracted millions of people to go to cinemas with its pure feeling & warm tone. Its huge revenue compared to its very low cost made investors very excited. After the setback of our movie industry during the financial storm, our focus transferred to low cost movie. Investors want to pull down the cost & work for higher revenue so that low cost movie will be there new interest. Is it possible to motivate the movie market with low cost movies? This becomes a more interesting topic.
It is possible to conclude a complete movie model by summarizing low cost movie’s reasons of being successful so that our movie industry can develop in a more unique and successful way especially after the impact of financial crisis.
