Abstract
The paper aims at designing data capture based on USB2.0 specification. The specification of USB2.0, the operation method of EZ-USB FX2 USB microcontroller and analog-to-digital converters ADS8364 and the principle and working process of hardware of data capture are introduced in detail. The interface circuit between ADS8364 and CPLD, the main source procedure part writing with the VHDL hardware description language plait and its imitation are involved in this paper as well as the writing and download of firmware. USB2.0 is used as a transmission channel and CPLD as a controller by the system, which realizes the high-speed capture. Through the USB equipment hardware, the firmware and the CPLD chip development and the realization, forms may use the USB main line to transmit the data gathering system.Through the CPLD realization to the A/D chip control, and controls the sampling data to feed in FIFO, the final data spreads to the USB main engine from the USB main line.
