Abstract With the computer and the Intranet / Internet worldwide popularity of large-scale e-government construction has been booming. E-government has become a national development strategy of the core, but also to government reform government at all levels, improve administrative efficiency, an important means to improve the image of the government. This paper first introduces the concept of e-government and e-government for the government, businesses and citizens to bring the benefits of e-government development in understanding the status quo prior to my simple understanding of what the developed countries abroad, the development of e-government, by comparing the know that the inadequacies of China's e-government and gratifying aspects. Looking at the overall situation, the rapid development of China's e-government as one of the provinces - Henan, and its e-government development and how, followed by introduction of e-government from the establishment of Henan to the development process, of course, will face some difficulties, but by MPLS, authentication, VoIP and domestic aspects of database technology achievements, the construction of Henan, the focus of e-government is very obvious, while the Henan Provincial Government put forward the e-government development goals, safeguard measures and so on.
