ABSTRACT
Now the development of domestic retail enterprises is rapidly, and creating a brand of large supermarkets in many cities has become a pillar of strength development of local retail. On the surface, an array of large supermarket goods make people overwhelmed. But in fact, when the customer standing before the shelf, they often do not know how to find the goods they need. So you can see there are many unreasonable in the layout of the supermarket, but the scientific and reasonable layout is the key to the success of the supermarket business.
Therefore, this article introduces the topics of significance from the importance and principles of the layout of large supermarket, in this chapter it also introduces the basic concepts of Facilities Planning and Internal Logistics, as well as the development of domestic and international situation. Then it describes the theoretical research of Facilities Planning and Internal logistics. It describes how to use the layout design system (SLP) and steps. In the end it introduces the details of the layout design system (SLP) as an example of Ningbo Tesco and makes a summary of the study of Ningbo Tesco.
