ABSTRACT
With the development of global economic, the competition among enterprises become more and more intense. The business has gradually changed from originally the phase of less varieties, mass production and mass marketing to the differentiation operation phase that was characterized by multi-species and less amount production. In order to adapt to the rapid changing market demands, save costs, enhance competitiveness of the enterprise, lean production has gradually been paid more and more attention. Lean production model can make the enterprises use lower production costs, best product quality, fastest delivery to meet customer requirements.
This paper starts with SMEs in China,analyzes the development status of SMEs in China, including the characteristics of SMEs, the pressure they face and major production management methods and problems existing. It mainly focus on introducing the Lean production model and the use of status in SMEs in China,it also comes up to how to carry out implementation strategy of the lean management thinking .Above all, this paper wants to give Chinese SMEs an explorative reference of the promotion of Lean Thinking.
This paper is divided into four aspects. The first is the introduction. The second is a summarize of the production management methods. The third introduce to the development status quo of Lishui Yongfei Auto Parts Company. The forth is about the specific application of Lean thinking in Lishui Yongfei Auto Parts Company.
