Abstract
This paper takes development of Buddhism, Taoist and novel during Ming & Qing dynasties as background, it focuses on expressing how Buddhism and Taoist affect writers’ philosophy of life and social, aesthetic sense and taste, novels’ imagination, theme, figure, plot and language to disclose Buddhism and Taoist have a profound influence on novels during Ming & Qing Dynasties. Meanwhile this paper proves that Buddhism and Taoist take an import role in novels development during Ming & Qing dynasties. Finally this paper is concluded by a brief analysis of the reasons.
