Title: Study on effects of different nutritional intervention for nutrition status of in patients in coma ABSTRACT Objective: To explore the effects of different nutritional interventions on the nutrition status of inpatients in coma. Methods: 120 inpatients were randomly divided into three groups: parenteral nutrition group(20 patients,PNgroup),enteralnutrition group(50 patients,EN group) and TPN+EN group(50 patients).The three groups were given equal calory. Data of nutrition status of patients were compared before and 10days after nutritional intervention. Results: Nosignifieant differences were observed in total protein(TP),albumin,blood glucose (P>0.05),the levels of albumin before nutitional intervention were higher than after that and the levels of hemoglobin in PN and PN+EN group were significantly lower than those of the EN group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Enteral nutrition combined with parenteral nutrition is a reasonable method for patients with intestinal funetion.
