Abstract:Sewage sludge is a by-product of the wastewater-treatment system.With the acceleration of urbanization, the sewage water will be produced more and more, followed by sewage sludge will be more and more.And the best way to dispose of sludge is using it as a resource for reuse.
The current method of sludge re-use are land use,energy use,the preparation of protein foam extinguishing agent,the preparation of activated carbon.The application of activated carbon form sludge is very wide,such as wastewater treatment,emission control,soil improvement,soil for gardening,dehydration agent and sweetening agent.
In this experiment,activated carbon was prepared from the sewage sludge by chemical activation,activation reagent is ZnCl2.We want to know the optimum condition by changeing the solid-liquid ratio,the concentration of activator,the activation temperature,activation time as four variables influencing factors.And we determined product performance by detection method based on activated carbon - Determination of iodine adsorption value (GB/T 12496.8-1999).Although the experiment failed,the carefully-depth analysis of the cause can give some guidance to others.
