Abstract: This article synthetizes acrylic thickener with Reactive Printing adopting a method of inverse polymerization. This experiment is based on acrylic acid (AA) as monomer, potassium persulfate (kps) as initiator, sorbitol oleate (span80) as emulsifier, polyoxyethylene alkylphenol (10) ether (TX -10) as phase transfer agent. Reaction condition is temperature around 30 ℃, pH 5.8. The resulting emulsion thickener performance is measured by viscosity, salt tolerance test and conversion. This article discusses the amount of initiator, crosslinking agent and dosage, reaction temperature, acrylamide (AM) of the content on the performance of thickener thickening. Experimental results show that acrylic acid 76g, potassium persulfate 6.5g, span80 8.8g, AM 23.8g, reaction temperature about 30 ℃, better performance synthetic thickener.
