An analysis on the core competence of state-owned commercial banks
Abstract: On December 11, 2006, Chinese financial market began its total opening up to the outside world, and thus Chinese and overseas commercial banks started to conmpete with each other on the same platform.Under the condition that the financial industry becomes increasingly globalized ,informationized, internationalized Chinese commercial banks face more and more competition and concussion. Chinese state-owned commercial banks not only face increasing domestic competition,but also face severe challenges from outside. Faced with this competitive situation, how to increase their core competence and win their own way in the competition of the world is the key of our considerations. In view of this phenomenon, this article firstly described the status of state-owned bank's core competitiveness, and then analyzes the problems of the competitiveness of state-owned bank's core separately from the system, human resources and financial innovation, and puts forward strategies.
