The Design Planning of “Electricity Instead of Oil” for RTG And 3D
Abstract
Rubber-tyred container gantry crane ,which is short for RTG,is a special equipment for to handling containers in terminal yard .Nowadays the number of RTG has reached over 6000,which is accounting for 90% of the total.
But RTG adopt the diesel generator sets to supply the driving force. It existed the problems of high energy consumption, high operating costs, pollution .At the same time, diesel generator sets produced the exhaust air, the leak of noise and oil, water etc. That made the bigger pollution to the terminal.
After doing the research on the electric RTG and comparison between several technical plans, we adopt the plan of the sliding - touch line to finish the “electricity instead of oil” for the RTG by the urban power networks directly(which is short for ERTG).It realized the assumption as a whole of low energy consumption ,low emissions ,high efficiency and flexible working.
The basic principle is erecting power supply networks by the sliding - touch line. RTG gets power through the sliding-touch line and mobile power supply device from the networks. While the mobile power supply device is synchronous moving with RTG, it realized the power supply to RTG.
