Abstract
Common reflection surface(CRS)s tack is a macro-model independent seismic imaging method. To perform CRS stack depends on the determination of three wave attributes ,viz, one emergence angle and two radii of wavefront curvatures:Normal(N) wave and Nomal incidence point wave(NIP).Based on a general CRP trajectory expression ,the two kinds of eigen wave being introduced, the traveltime response of CRS can be given by extending CRP expression via considering that all rays are reflected on the segment around the reflector according to paraxial approximation. There exist two:the hyperbolic and the parabolic.
The(first) Fresnel zone plays an important role in imaging,it is also used to define the local minimum aperture for the CRS stack. The projection of the interface Fresnel zone is up to the acquisition line. Both the reflection Fresnel zone and the Projected Fresnel zone can be expressed in terms of the 2-D zero-offset CRS stack attributes.
