Abstract: This paper probes into a basic application of voice control technology in electronic navigation map system. Because there are some problems in the application of navigation system, such as noise, isolated words and blurry voice, this paper, that is based on a current voice recognition module, firstly puts forward a method of the similar matching-degree calculation on geographical information which adopts faintness matching on pinyin string to improve their matching rates, sets up a rule database of syntax and keywords, basically realizes the interaction function of person and computer. The method has been successfully applied in navigation electronic atlas, which improves the input function of voice, and increases intelligent extent of electronic map application.
