The research on the new perylene,PVK¡¯s energy transfer and Electroluminescence properties
Abstract: During the past several years, organic electroluminescent (EL) devices based either on small molecules or on polymers are of great current interest due to their potential application in full color display panel covering variety of emission color from blue to red. The study about OLED mainly concentrates on how to increase luminescent efficiency, how to improve device life time and how to get higher luminosity. To improve the luminescent efficiency, this paper focused on doped polymer EL devices involving materials synthetic, device design and preparation. We have carried out systemic research on perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylicacid(TMEP) doped polymer devices and PKMTb series polymer devices. We have studied the optical properties of TMEP doped PVK films. Using EL and PL spectra, we figured out the influence of introducing TMEP to PVK and the energy transfer process.
