Abstract: In this paper, a series of simple aromatic compounds and chloride were taken as raw materials, the Halogenated aromatic ketones were got by the method of Friedel-Crafts acylation reactions. And this ketones is reduced to the halogenated aromatic alcohol by sodium borohydride in the Solvent of ethanol. The product of each experiment was analysed by gas chromatography, and the degree of the reaction is determined by comparing the raw materials peaks with the product peaks. In this exercitation, the yield of reaction which affected by the different aromatic compounds, the different chloride and the Proportion of the raw materials were studied. The method of the separation and the purification of the product were inspected in the course of the experiment. And the formation mechanism of the reaction was discussed. Then the ratio of materials, the reaction temperature and the catalyst which affected the reaction were analysed. At last, the mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance were used to Authenticate and corroborate the halogenated aromatic alcohol¡¯s frame.
