Methyl 5-deoxy-2,3-O-isopropylidene-β-D-ribofuranoside
Abstract : This paper focused the temperature and the usage of acetone, 2,2 – dimethoxy propane, sodium borohydride and potassium borohydride on the product quality yield of methyl 5-deoxy-2,3-O-isopropylidene-β-D-ribofur
-anoside which is synthesized by mesityling of D-ribose, hydroxyl replacing of methyl 2, 3-O-isopropylidine-β-D-ribofuranoside and the reduction of methyl 2, 3-O-isopropylidene-5-O-p-toluenesulfonyl -β-D-ribofuranoside. The results show that :(1) The Synthesis of methyl 2, 3-O-isopropylidine-β-D-ribo
-furanoside when the molar ratio of D-ribose、 acetone and 2, 2-dimethoxy propane was 1:15:1.2 had best effort on the yield and efficiency.(2)The synthesis of methyl 5-deoxy-2,3-O-isopropylidene-β-D-ribofuranos-ide when the molar ratio of the methyl 2, 3-O-isopropylidene-5-O-p-toluene-sulfonyl -β-D-ribofuranoside and potassium borohydride was 1:8 had best effort on the at yield and efficiency 110 °C.
