The animation industry is a creatively sunrise industry in 21st century, at present, foreign animation developed well, but the development of domestic animation is not optimistic. The domestic anime is especially not suitable for the youth’s demand, and the youth market of domestic animation has been nearly lost. Therefore, the study of this animation market demand has been a pressing issue.
This article will on the base of review recent years’ empirical study of animation market, though the questionnaire design, list the elements of an animation (plot, meaning, style, etc.), and then conduct a survey. In addition, there will be an analysis of some consumer-related information getting media and periphery consumer. The result shows that the youth love original science fiction, some reasoning related and funny works which have aesthetic style, characterful leading actor,express the outlook of life,and the dubbedeffect and background music are good.
