A structural design of university building
Abstract
The paper is about building design of a university .The total construction area of the building is about 3033 ㎡ and the bottom covers about 1011 ㎡, the total height is 15.768m .It is a multi-storey building. The earthquake intensity is six degrees to set up defences, the forth Seismic grade, Structural safety grade two and the design life spans nearly 50 years. The seismic calculations are not taken into consideration. The program used cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame structure, the main load-bearing structure of the two-way framework. Conducting load calculation and after estimating beam, select a framework for load calculations, using layered calculated forces, later analysis for the most unfavorable load portfolio ,through D value derived wind load, and then cross-section beams framework for the design. And select some floor panels, continuous beams, staircases, rain shelter valleys and gutters, the pile foundation design. This basic form is pile, the stair is the stair of cast-in-place modes in Chinese operatic music of armored concrete . The whole conceptual design accords with the design and structure demand basically.
