Abstract
The subject of this design thesis is College Multifunctional Library, which is a seven-story reinforced concrete frame structure. Its include the design of structure and architecture.
The architectural area is about 10,000 Square meters, and the anti-seismic intensity is 7 degrees. The structure form adopts the frame structure. The floors adopt principal beams and secondary beams to cover. When it needs no shelter from the large space, the floors adopt well beams to cover. The base adopts the pile-foundation. The fire resistance rating is 2.
It basically consists of frame structure design and member design. Structure design is based on GB Structure Design Code;main frame is satisfied with conformation and anti-seismic design requirements. Vertical loads are calculated with Moment Distributed Twice Method, while horizontal loads are calculated with D Value Method. Most internal force is firstly calculated manually;after that it is recalculated with PKPM ;and then the results are compared to make sure the manual result acceptable.Foundation design include the choice of foundation pattern and calculation.
