ON INCENTIVE MANGEMENT OF COLLEGE TEACHERS
ABSTRACT:The incentive mangement of college teachers is a kind of effective college human resource management which mobilizes the enthusiasm of teachers in a way of meeting the demand of college teachers. It advocates using the scientific methods to fully understand the characteristics and demand of teachers, and analyzing the pros and cons of the internal and external college environment, and establishing a reasonable drive mechanism. The main purpose of college teachers’ management of incentive is to create a fair and just and open competitive environment, improve teachers’ incentive working, and ensure the quality of education and the promotion of the development of education. The establishment of college human resource management is based on the guidance of government’s policies, the security of state laws and regulations, and the active cooperation and implementation of schools. At present, the plan of college human resource management has been put into practice gradually,and some strategies has produced certain effects, such as the general increase in the wages of college teachers, and the gradual implement of medical and housing insurance. But there are still some shortcomings and deficiencies in it. For instance, certain parts of the performance-appraisal system for teachers is set unreasonably, etc. Therefore, on incentive management of college teachers also needs to continue to improve and perfect.
