FROM “THE WALL STREET JOURNAL” TO SEE THE STATUS AND DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION OF CHINESE FINANCIAL NEWSPAPER
ABSTRACT: With the public demand for the gradual increase of economic information, financial newspapers as the Metropolitan, the new evening heat, a hot press. However, the financial newspaper market more competitive so whether it is or was a pioneer who felt a strong pressure. Therefore, the financial newspaper how to deal with the new situation? There is no market space? How to win the advertising, to expand market share and increase revenue? To answer these questions, we must analyze the development of Chinese financial newspaper status and trends of the advantages and disadvantages of newspaper market. Now, the newspaper media in China is still in the financial growth stage, away from the mainstream there is a wide gap. This is a lot of external factors (as in the qualitative competition, the impact of cross-media and new media), and many internal factors (such as content, distribution channels, brand and other factors) are determined. How to seek new development opportunities, reduce financial newspaper in China and the West the gap between the mainstream financial press, is the starting point of this thesis. The paper on "The Wall Street Journal" analysis, and select a representative national financial newspaper media - "First Financial Daily", a comparative analysis, and strive to operate in the professional, profit model, business strategy and other aspects of financial newspapers on the development strategy for China's future development of financial newspapers provide some constructive suggestions.
