Nowadays, English as a global language, is widely used in the world, for example, 70% of the internet materials is in English .Nowadays the Chinese also attach great importance to English, especially for the students .So, the quality of English teaching in middle school deserves due attention .How to improve the quality and prolificacy is a problem we should pay great attention.
This paper focuses on the approaches which are used in junior Middle school English class in order to improve its prolificacy. And tries to seek an ideal and proper type of approaches used in Middle school English class to improve their English and it consists of several parts as follows.
Firstly, it gives the background of English teaching in Middle school. Secondly, it focuses on situational teaching approach used class, such as text, grammar and teaching. Then, it gives an analysis to the communicative approaches in class and discusses performance approaches and audio—visual aids in class. In the end, it discusses about the inductive approach in class, and the importance of meticulous designing of blackboard writing.
