Polite language between Chinese and western cultural differences
"Culture" refers to a society has a unique beliefs, total system, target and technology model. Culture includes all sharing the product of human society. The differences between Chinese and western culture, and for the expression of "the ritual" is not the same, including Chinese and western literature annotations are also different. China and the west have a there's a big difference on addressing, greeting. In China for "thank you" is a very polite to thank the word, but in western culture, different occasions, may represent different meanings. Like once, my friend go to western restaurant, the waiter came and politely asked us: "you need some water, please," my friend replied: "thank you", the waiter went away, and he has been there, and then finally angry for no reason, and feel people look down on you, but is actually made a mistake, you said "thank you" in the western culture is the meaning of "no need", this series also illustrates the differences between Chinese and western culture.
