Abstract: Three methods of synthesizing technics of ferrous glycinate chelate using ferrous chloride with glycin, iron with glycin and calcium oxide with glycin as raw materials were studied in this paper. The experiments focus on the synthesizing technics of ferrous glycinate chelate using iron with glycin. The effect of reaction temperature, time and the quantity of citric acid as one way to explore the basic rule of the technics was studied. The products were analyzed by qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and infrared analysis. The moisture absorption ability of products from three different methods was compared. The thermo ability of products was characterized by DSC.
