Abstract
Caprolactam process is very complicated, Cyclohexanone oxime rearrangement reaction is the key process in Caprolactam production , Cyclohexanone oxime and oleum are reacted to produce Caprolactam, i.e. Beckmann rearrangement is the key step in the process. The reaction is very intensive and produces many by-products, which will impact a lot on the final product quality and production consumption.
The thesis focuses on the rearrangement impact factors analysis. Two stage rearrangement test scheme was worked out and executed on the basis of the original one stage rearrangement test scheme which was provided by DSM. The impact factors were measurable after the test. which provides conditions to apply the research result. The project has passed the examination. The statistics with respect to one stage and two stages rearrangement have been done. This process development will be the first time in China based on the literature searches.
