Title: Reaction Mechanism and Kinetics Study of Phenol Hrdroxylation
 
Abstract
 Cu/Mg/Al hydrotalcite-like compounds were synthesized by the co-precipitation method and then they were submitted to the microwave radiation. We studied their catalytic performances for the direct hydroxylation of phenol. We also studied the influence of reaction time ,reaction temperature ,the ratio of substrate:catalyst and the ration of substrate:H2O2.Results indicated that with 4.0mol phenol,phenol/H2O2 ratio is 1:2,0.02mol catalyst and 30ml H2O,reaction temperature is 60¡æ,reation time is 4hour, the conversion of phenol is the highest . At the same time ,we studied the kinetics and mechanism of hydroxylation of phenol.
