美国汽车文化

摘要:美国汽车工业居世界领先地位,但中国的汽车工业可以说才刚刚起步,这无疑是受到中美文化差异导致的。本文从中美文化差异着手讲述为什么美国汽车工艺的发达的,而中国汽车为什么一直发展不起来。再讲述美国汽车的发展,以及美国大牌汽车的成功。

 The U.S. auto industry is leader in the word, but Chinese auto industry can be said that just started, this is undoubtedly caused by the Sino-US cultural differences.  Now there is no doubt that the cars have gone into every household life, people's lives because of the cars become easy. In China, the automobile industry has developed its own way. Such as the clothing, the food culture, the cars maintain a certain level in traffic and usage; people begin to pursue deeper spiritual needs. The car culture has emerged a new term in the 21st century. Even so, the Chinese automobile industry is nothing compared with the United States. In the U.S., the cars is integrated into their lives, we can say that the cars can't separate with the American lives.
 Despite numerous accusations and withstand the pressure, we can not deny it in the past one hundred years, the United States and fashioned the world's most imaginative and creative cars. If the United Kingdom and Germany into the stage of history the car, then let the car into the United States as part of public life. Over the past one hundred years, most brilliant of these American car brands, I hope the next one hundred years that they remain able to give us surprises.

 

I. The different attitudes about cars between the two countries

 China and the United States are two distinct power countries, so their car culture is very different. The fundamental reason of the car culture formation is the historical environment and the human personality. And the car culture in different countries is quite different. During this period, the historical tradition culture is very important. Early in the auto industry, making a car is a very delicate process, pondering in that manual, the historical legacy of cultural penetration are subtle and lingering. With the emergence of industrial assembly line, the auto industry is scale, but also lost some character and content. Although Chinese automobile industry has developed. The comparison with the U.S. auto industry, there is a very far distance.

The Chinese attitudes towards the cars.

 In China, the most people seem to think that having a car is a not very easy task, especially for imported cars (of course the tariffs is the main problem).The import cars seems to be a status symbol, and be a very worthwhile thing to show off. Like many years ago, the watch is also a very big deal. So, even though buying a car will take many years of people's savings, we still want to have a car. However, the road equipment is still imperfect in China. In the big city, driving yourselves is not more convenient than taking buses, but the Chinese still want to have a car. In China, the car is a status symbol for the Chinese people, and an ability to show off.
 
The American attitudes towards the cars.

 The status of cars in the United States is different. Between one town and another is often very far away, the shopping mall is at the edge of the city, and is also far away from the town. People also like to live in the suburbs, but the train would almost extinct. So in America, it can be said that one can't move without a car. In U.S.A., the car statue is not as big as in China, while the car is just purely a transport. Unless a lot of money, American can not buy the relatively expensive car, such as the Benz and the BMW, even though the most of them can afford it. As if they can afford, but the most ordinary people don't have the reason that buy a large screen TV at home. So, In America the better sales car is that the lower repair rate---Toyota, and Lexus first. American is very hot in the used car, especially people who just learn to drive. But the used car market is not hot in China, I think a reason is that our country people think the things used by others is not good, and the used cars' price isn't relatively reasonable.

Different cultures bring up different attitudes.

 Chinese is saving face, under similar conditions of buying the car; they will certainly be "buy the dear not buy the cheap." However, the development of Chinese auto industry is not satisfied, and for the good car is almost lack of. The world famous car brands are without the production of Chinese cars. People think that they would buy a good car rather than buy a cheap car in Chinese culture. Because they think that buying a car is to see for others, to show off, rather than a means of transport. But in China, not many people can afford a good brand car, so it leads to the Chinese auto industry being not developed. Another important point is that Chinese people do not trust their own brands of cars. Brought our own brand, it used to be called "low-cost car, low-quality vehicles, and low-end cars." The design can not keep up trend of the times, the technologic is backward, the small faults, and the poor service performance became the Chinese autonomous image. So, Chinese people are not use their money to invest in Chinese brand cars, how does quickly Chinese auto industry develop?
 The American attitude which having a car is completely different with Chinese. The cars are just a transport and the essential goods of life for them. Since it is the life essential goods, they need not to insist how much high-grade as long as it can be used. So they support the independent brands mostly, although the price is not high, they do not seek face-saving concept. So they will feel happy because life becomes easy.

II. The development of American cars industry.

 As we all know, the United States is the world's largest car market. Seeing the history, the United States car is almost the history of the world's cars. And now we are proud to see some United States brands which on behalf of the development of American cars industry.
 In the hundred years of development, the United States has created the stunning Ford assembly line production, Created a common matrix to be proud of business organization model, created a series of world-renowned brands and classic car models, left dominated the top two global automotive business half a century of glorious history.

 We can say that Ford's car is the beginning of the U.S. auto industry; it is the first successful independent brands. Through a century, it is still existed mainly reason is that their belief: do the car people can buy from. The belief is no doubt a noble in American culture, American does not advocate a luxury, and it is also the success of Ford.
 
Buick---the first successful car brand
